ScreenLink — Screen Mirroring App

Last updated: February 18, 2026

What ScreenLink Does

ScreenLink allows you to mirror your Android device's screen to a web browser using WebRTC peer-to-peer technology. It is designed for presentations, demos, and screen sharing.

Permissions Used

  • Screen Capture (MediaProjection): Required to capture your screen content for mirroring. This permission is requested each time you start a session and requires explicit user consent via the Android system dialog.
  • Foreground Service: Keeps the screen capture active while mirroring. A persistent notification is shown during active sessions.
  • Internet: Required to establish WebRTC peer connections and communicate with the signaling server.

Data Handling

  • Video Stream: Screen content is transmitted directly between your device and the viewer's browser via WebRTC peer-to-peer connection. The video stream does not pass through our servers in most cases. When direct P2P connection is not possible, a TURN relay server is used — the stream passes through the relay but is not stored.
  • Signaling Data: Connection setup information (SDP offers/answers and ICE candidates) is relayed through our signaling server to establish the peer connection. This data is ephemeral and not stored.
  • Session Data: Each session generates an 8-character alphanumeric PIN. Sessions are stored in memory on the signaling server and are automatically deleted after 6 hours (TTL).
  • No Persistent Storage: We do not record, store, or log screen content. No video data is saved on our servers at any time.
  • No Analytics: ScreenLink does not include any analytics SDKs or tracking.
  • No User Accounts: ScreenLink does not require user registration or login.

Third-Party Services

  • Cloudflare: Our signaling server runs on Cloudflare Workers. Cloudflare TURN relay servers may be used for connections that cannot be established directly. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.

Data Shared with Third Parties

ScreenLink does not share any user data with third parties. No personal information is collected, so none is shared.
